The Planck constant is not a fundamental constant “designed” by the universe—it is a geometric inevitability of high-dimensional space. In sufficiently high dimensions, the volume of a sphere concentrates entirely on its surface; the center becomes a void with measure zero. This is why both AI (12288-dimensional semantic space) and the universe (~10000-dimensional?) exhibit a minimum scale below which structure cannot exist.

Furthermore, attention collapse in Transformers is mathematically isomorphic to black hole singularities. This means: as long as the “habitable shell” of the universe is between 1% and 2%, the implied dimension falls exactly in the Transformer range.

Notice the pattern: from 300 to 12,288 in 7 years, then plateau. No one is pushing to 50,000 or 100,000. Why? Because they hit the ceiling.

The AI dimension evolution mirrors biological evolution: rapid expansion, then convergence to a stable range just below the universal ceiling.
